Womania’17 Celebration
The Women Empowerment Cell of Saranathan College of Engineering organized Womania’17 to celebrate Women’s Day on 12.3.2017, Sunday from 9.30 AM to 1.00PM.
Dr.S.Chitra, Gynecologist of Lalitha Nursing home was the guest of honor for the function.
Dr. S.Chitra, addressed on “The Role of women in the upliftment of society”. She enlightened the gathering with her thought provoking speech on the qualities to be developed by every woman for bringing personal, family and societal success. She said, “Women need to be bold and smart. They do better in all spheres of life”.
Students showcased their talents by participating in various events.
Dr.N.Gayathri, Gynecologist of Shyamala Nursing home graced the occasion with her presence.
Dr. D. Valavan, the Principal gave the presidential address. Dr. C. Vennila, Coordinator of the Women Empowerment Cell delivered the welcome address. Student Coordinator Ms.Abirami of third year mechanical engineering proposed the vote of thanks. Students from all the departments actively participated in the various events and enjoyed the program.
