Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2020 is a national initiative launched by AICTE and MHRD aimed at providing students with a platform to solve some of the pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and inculcate a culture of product innovation and problem-solving mentality.
SIH-2022 brings the next generation evolution by inclusion of new methodology to inculcate the culture of start-up and innovation ecosystem across different age groups. SIH-2022 brings you problem statements from leading public and private organizations, union ministries and NGOs in India. There would be ONE single winning team for every problem statement posted on the portal.
Amount of prize money awarded to the winning team would be Rs. 1 Lakh per problem statement, only if the idea is liked by the problem statement creator organization. Teams are also encouraged to think out-of-the-box and provide creative solutions to themes under ‘Students’ Innovation’ category.
Our management is magnanimous in awarding additional cash prize as that of the same cash prize awarded by SIH Team.
Our college has a rich heritage of winning the first position in Smart India Hackathon for two consecutive years. Our college students won the first prize of Rs 1 Lakh in SIH-2019 and SIH-2020.
