Initiative taken
- Role plays, street plays were conducted on women empowerment at Alundur Village on 25th of December 2013.
- Exhibition cum sale program by rehabilitation centre of visually challenged women on 12/08/14 and on 05/02/15.
- Womania’14 and Womania’15 were conducted to celebrate woman’s day.
- MS office training was given to village students at Alundur Village on 25th of December 2013.
- Women Empowerment Cell of Saranathan College of Engineering organized a Clean India Drive on 11th October 2014, on 15th October 2014
- On 25th of December‘2014 Software Training for school students of South Paganur village near Manikandam on basic computer applications was conducted by the Women Empowerment Cell of Saranathan college of Engineering.
- To create an awareness about breast cancer ,students of Saranathan participated "10K MAMMO RUN" conducted by Dr.K.Shantha Breast Cancer Foundation on October 20th, 2013 with the theme of "Run Trichy Run".
