Womania’16 Celebration
The Women Empowerment Cell of Saranathan College of Engineering organized Womania’16 to celebrate Women’s Day on 13.3.2016, Sunday from 9.30 AM to 1.00PM.
Dr.N.Gayathri, Gynecologist of Shyamala Nursing home was the guest of honor for the function.
Dr. N.Gayathri delivered a presentation on “The Role of women in the upliftment of society”. She enlightened the gathering with her thought provoking speech on the qualities to be developed by every woman for bringing personal, family and societal success. She had an interaction session with the students for the same.
Students showcased their talents by participating in various events.
Dr. D. Valavan, the Principal gave the presidential address. Dr. C. Vennila, Coordinator of the Women Empowerment Cell delivered the welcome address. Student Coordinator Ms.Indhumathy of ECE department proposed the vote of thanks. Students from all departments actively participated in the various events and enjoyed the program intensively.
