Industry Interaction
The department in its need to pursue its agenda in teaching, training and research enjoys long standing relationships with industry, academia, and research organizations of national importance.
The Department has Memoranda of Understanding with two leading companies, National Instruments Bangalore and Yokogawa Bangalore.These MoU havve brought the college and the industry closer thanks to their active participation and contribution in the departmental aims. Latest automation tools like the PLC and the DCS are also available.
Another aspect of the department has been the special emphasis given on the industry-college interaction under which every year Industrial visits and project training are organized. These visits help the student to get a feel of the corporate environment. The vision of the department is to develop a motivated and dynamic team of young engineers, scholars and researchers who would graduate as all rounders with a strong technical base and well adapted to the ever changing technology and thus become globally competent.
About LabVIEW Academy
LabVIEW Academy is a centralised facility for all disciplines of Engineering, Science and Technology. It was setup by M/s. National Instruments, USA. NI Systems (India) Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore. Intensive training programmes and short term courses on LabVIEW Basics, are continuously organized by the centre.

With the good technical assistance provided by the faculty along with the industrial exposure, the students are being recruited by the top-level industries like Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services, Sutherland Global limited, CISCO systems and few more to go in the path of growth. Further students also get abundant opportunities for higher studies in Indian & Foreign universities.
