Womania’15 Celebration
The Women Empowerment Cell of Saranathan College of Engineering organized Womania’15 to celebrate Women’s Day on 29.3.2015, Sunday from 9.30 AM to 12.30PM.
Dr.S.Chitra, Gynecologist of Lalitha Nursing home, Dr.N.Gayathri, Gynecologist of Shyamala Nursing home and Dr.N.Akila, Gynecologist of Lalitha Nursing home were the guest of honor for the function.
Dr.S.Chitra delivered a presentation on “Importance of nutrition and physical exercise for a healthy future”. She shed light on the health awareness that is essential for women.
Dr.N.Gayathri and Dr.V.Akila delivered a presentation on “Cervical Cancer.. Preventable…” They had a Students interaction session for the same.
Dr. A. Revathy gave the presidential address and Dr.C. Vennila, Coordinator of the Women Empowerment Cell delivered the welcome address. Student Coordinator Ms.Sagaya priya (IT) proposed the vote of thanks. Students from all departments actively participated in the various events and enjoyed the program intensively.
