Womania’14 Celebration
The Women Empowerment Cell of Saranathan College of Engineering organized Womania'14 to celebrate Women's Day on 30.3.2014, Sunday from 9 AM to 1PM.
Mrs. K.Geetha, Project Director of Maharishi Vidhya Mandhir, presided as the chief guest and delivered a presentation on "Women-The Weaker sex?". She shed light on the qualities that are essential for women empowerment and the challenges women face in the modern world.
Dr. C.Vennila, Coordinator of the Women Empowerment Cell delivered the welcome address. Dr. A.Revathy, The Principal gave the presidential address and donated Rs.3000 each to Maharishi Vidhya Mandhir and the Orphanage on behalf of the college. Mrs. Bhavani, HOD(IT) proposed the vote of thanks. Students from all departments actively participated in the various events and enjoyed the program intensively.
