Entrepreneurship Awareness Campaign (EAC)


Entrepreneurship development cell of Saranathan College of Engineering conducted its 2nd awareness camp about Entrepreneurship ,to benefit the Prospective youth student entrepreneurs of our college in association with EDI & ICTACT.

About the Program:

Entrepreneurship Development Institute (Government of Tamilnadu ), ICT Academy and EDC of Saranathan College of Engineering are conducting an Entrepreneurship development Program for the benefit of our students.

This program is designed to provide an opportunity for our students to trigger their entrepreneurial spirits, nurture their talents and show the path towards their entrepreneurial journey. The following will be the three phases of this program.

Phase 1 : Entrepreneurship Awareness Campaign (EAC)

  • A Half Day seminar for around 300 (3rd and 4th Year combined) students from our institution.
  • The objective of this EAC is to create entrepreneurship awareness among all 300 students
  • To identify the top 20 students who are keen on pursuing their entrepreneurship journey through an assessment.

Phase 2: Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP)

  • An intensive 5 days training program on Entrepreneurship Development will be conducted for the 20 selected students at our institution.
  • By end of this training program the Top 2 students with strong business ideas and capabilities will be identified.

Phase 3: Advanced Entrepreneurship Orientation Program (AEDP)

  • A 2 days advanced program to be conducted at Chennai for the top 2 students from our institution (Total 224 students across TN).
  • These students will undergo industry interaction, field visits, visit to incubation centre etc., thereby providing them a good platform to pursue their entrepreneur dreams.
