69 out of the 111 students who registered, turned up and participated in the drive.

The selection process started after an initial pre-placement talk which was interactive. After the initial GD round 12 students were shortlisted (5 from ICE,3 from EEE, 2 from CSE and 1 each from ECE & IT). This round was followed by a short one-on -one HR round from which 10 students were shortlisted for the next rounds. 4 of these were short listed for Verbal and asked to take a telephonic interview. 2 students (Ms Sarah Maria Louis & Ms S Monish - both from ICE) cleared the telephonic round and were given provisional offer letters. The two students who did not clear the telephonic round were told they would be considered for a non-verbal assignment.

The six who were shortlisted for Non-verbal positions earlier and the two who did not clear the verbal round were asked to write a small essay of 1-1/2 pages on the suggested topic. These essays would be sent to Chennai, evaluated and the results would be announced in about 2 weeks.
